Anyone can volunteer at Central Park! Whether you wish to contribute money or time, or if you are volunteering by yourself or as part of a group, there is an opportunity to give back.

This is an excellent resource for anyone who wishes to directly contact the Central Park Conservancy to find the way in which they can best help Central Park.
You must be 18+ for most programs, but some are specially designed for children and teens 18 and younger.
Youth and Family Days Programs
The Central Park Conservancy accepts students under 18 in their specialized youth and Family Days Programs.

Adopt a Bench
The majority of benches can be adopted with a donation of $10,000.

When you endow a Central Park tree, your money funds the planting of new trees in the Park. As a donor, you will receive an engraved stone at Literary Walk.

Become part of a team of volunteers that help keep Central Park beautiful by maintaining and enhancing its landscapes. Our projects include; planting, mulching, raking, weeding, pruning, and painting. Open to individuals and non-profit groups.
Join our group of friendly, knowledgeable, greeter/guides in providing information, giving tours, and/or helping enhance the overall experience for Central Park's 42 million visitors.
Corporate "Day in the Dirt" Programs
The "Day in the Dirt" program offers a unique opportunity for corporate groups to promote volunteerism and environmental stewardship while building employee cohesiveness and camaraderie.
Participate in the Youth Education and Service Programs and learn hands-on about the Park while helping preserve its landscapes. During the spring and fall families’ can participate in Central Park Conservancy’s “Keeping It Green” program by helping with raking and mulching projects.
