The Central Park Conservancy, in partnership with NYC Parks, is redeveloping Lasker Rink and Pool as the Harlem Meer Center. The new facility will still accommodate recreational and lap swimming, skating and hockey, and will be open year-round for new community-focused programming. Lasker Pool is open during the summer for swimming and becomes Lasker Rink during the winter for ice skating. The site overlooks the beautiful Harlem Meer and is favorite of active park-goers all year round.
The Lasker area accommodates 1,824 people and is available for private parties and events.

Lasker Pool is typically open daily from the end of June to Labor Day.
Pool Details
There are two pools for visitors to enjoy: a wading pool (dimensions: 63.5' x 14.5' x 1.25') and an Olympic pool (dimensions: 240' x 190' x 3.75').
There is also a deck area, lockers and a concession stand. Make sure to bring your own lock and towel!
Pool Cost
The pool itself is free of charge, and also offers free swimming lessons and free sunscreen.
Free Pool Programs
Lasker Pool runs a series of free programming throughout the summer. Kids can partake in Learn to Swim lessons, and for adults there are the "Early Bird" and "Night Owl" lap-swim programs.
