As reported by nbcnewyork.com, todays 97 degree temperature in Central Park, broke the prior record of 93 back in 1919. Tomorrow will also be in the 90's with higher humidity.
Steve Sosna, a meteorologists for NBC, gives a video forecast of the summer heat and continued heatwave. While we are not suffereing from a water shortage, due to all the snow we received this past spring, New Jersey is facing draught conditions. Next rain in our forcast is for Thursday. This will make the plants, lawns and flowers in Central Park very happy.
