May 22, 2015 - Sing For Hope just announced the piano locations and the artists who decorated them. Sing For Hope pianos have become a popular event throughout New York City. Two of the 50 piano's can be found in Central Park. The first is located in the Literary Walk, found at the southern end of the Mall, which contains statues of such well-known literary figures as William Shakespeare, Sir Walter Scott, and Robert Burns among others. The other location is by the Glade Arch, which is located on the East Side between 77th and 78th Streets just east of Cedar Hill.
The pianos — each a unique art piece created by a different artist or designer, are then donated to various NYC organizations allowing the pianos to enrich lives for years to come. For more information about the event or how you can become involved, please click here.
