Though New Yorkers and animal lovers around the world mourn the loss of Gus, Central Park Zoo's recently deceased and much loved polar bear, many have joined the New York Post's campaign to replace him with another polar bear. Advocates tweeted using the hashtag "HonorGus", to encourage the zoo to find a new resident.
