As reported in creativity-online.com, Central Park Conservancy, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary, has created a new ad campaign to show how important its volunteers and donors are to Central Park. Did you know that the Conservancy provides 75% of funding for Central Park.
The new ads will show what it would be like without the park i.e. how would a young man propose to his girlfriend if the park did not exist, in a dirty bathroom instead of by the beautiful Belvedere Fountain. Or how would you go bird watching without the park.
The ads are being shown during the Central Park Conservancy Film festival which will run from August 25 through August 29th. They are hoping to engage a younger audience to volunteer and donate. To read the article in its entirety, as well as to see the two new ads, please click here.
