Visitors and workers in Central Park were able to catch a glimpse of spring and enjoy a break from the cold winter with temperatures reaching into the 50s this weekend.
Aside from runners and members of the New York Athletic Club's rugby team, who were happy to return to the park as the snow was melting, New York 1 also interviewed pedicab drivers who were relieved by the temperature change.
"It's really hard to pedal in the snow because the park goes up and down," said one pedicab driver.
The official start of spring is still a month away, however, and next weekend is expected to bring with it the return of cold weather and more snow.
