A newly released infographic, compiled by home swapping site LoveHomeSwap.com, list the top fifty most visited tourist attractions in the world and their peak seasons.
Central Park came in third, with 37.5 million visitors a year.
Central Park's peak seasons are noted as January - March, and June - August. New York City is also home to the second most touristed site - Times Square - which receives 39.2 million visitors annually.
The most heavily touristed site in the world, with 39,668,221 visitors a year is the Las Vegas Strip.
