Jan 11, 2024 - The Central Park Conservancy has finished replacing the wood decking of Bow Bridge, one of Central Park’s most iconic locations, and the bridge is once again open to the public.
The bridge closed for repairs at the end of November, and the restoration project took about a month and a half.
The deck was replaced with new wood that is harder and more durable for the massive amount of foot traffic that the bridge receives.
