Supporting the 65th Street Transverse and is the passageway between the Central Park Zoo and the Children's Zoo. It is the only one connected to the transverse road system that is prominently visible. 

Denesmouth is constructed of pale-olive New Brunswick sandstone, blackened by years of exposure. This is the only Central Park arch made completely of sandstone.
