Zookeeping 101

Do you have a possible future zookeeper in your household?

Kids can gain insights into the daily duties of Central Park zookeepers as part of interactive children's programs tailored to different age groups.

For the youngest participants, the experience includes engaging animal-themed games, guided visits to Zoo exhibits, and the exciting opportunity to meet a small ambassador animal.

Older children can immerse themselves in a career-oriented program. During this program, participants get to explore the Zoo, test their skills, get involved in animal husbandry tasks, and meet with a small ambassador animal in a classroom setting.
