The Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre features this modern take on "Sleeping Beauty".
Wake Up, Daisy! is an original production from the Swedish Theatre. It tells the story of Daisy, a vibrant young girl living in an apartment overlooking Central Park. It is a modern take on Sleeping Beauty.
Performances are suitable for children ages 3 to 8.
About "Wake Up, Daisy!"
At Daisy’s much-anticipated birthday party, she encounters three special guests, known as her “Squad-parents”, from Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx, who grant her the gifts of courage, knowledge, and a second chance.
When an unwelcome guest shows up and puts a curse on her, Daisy’s life is forever changed. Through the support of her friends and an adventure around the city, Daisy’s strong self-determination and vivid imagination may be all she needs to break the curse.

Tickets
Tickets: $8 for children 11 years old and under, $12 for all others.
Tickets must be purchased in advance online.
Location
Performances take place at the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre, located southeast of the Delacorte Theater, near West Drive and 79th Street.
Safety Measures
Effective Monday, March 7, 2022 proof of vaccination, temperature checks, and health screenings are no longer required to enter the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre. Masks are strongly encouraged.
