DiscOasis is an immersive, funky, roller-disco experience happening at Wollman Rink this summer. Roller skate to the sounds of 70s era disco curated by Groovemaster Nile Rodgers, tear up the rink-side dance floor under dazzling lights, explore interactive art installations and more!

Tickets & Schedules

Timed-entry tickets are required for this event. Choose from daytime or evening time slots, and purchase tickets online using the links below. Tickets will also be available on site (when available) at the box office, or by calling (213) 267-8786. Space is limited.

The DiscOasis is open Wednesdays to Sundays. Daytime hours are 10:00am - 4:30pm. Nighttime experience hours are 5:30-10:00pm. This event continues until October 1st, 2022.

DAYTIME 1-HOUR SESSIONS

Available: 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM

Cost: From $17 for kids and $23 for adults

DAYTIME 3-HOUR SESSIONS

Available: 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM

Cost: From $29 for kids, $39 for adults, and $69 for VIP access

Tickets: Purchase a 3-Hour Daytime Pass (VIP option available)

EVENING 2-HOUR SESSIONS

Available: 5:30 PM & 8:00 PM

Cost: From $29 for kids, $55 for adults, and $99 for VIP access

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the daytime and nighttime versions of this event?

The DiscOasis is a glittering paradise at all hours! The environmental design features art installations, photo ops, and soundscapes curated by Groovemaster Nile Rodgers.

From 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM it is open for 1-hour or 3-hour skating sessions, plus on-site activities.

From 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM it is open for 2-hour skating sessions and comes to life with dazzling lights, live DJs, and a musical show with a cast of roller-skating performers.

What if I don't roller skate?

Roller skating is a central part of DiscOasis but there are plenty of other activities to experience, such as environmental designs, art installations and a dance floor!

Is DiscOasis family friendly?

Yes, the DiscOasis is appropriate for all ages. We recommend children attend during the day, or in the earlier evening session.

Do I need my own roller-skates?

If you don't have your own roller-skates or roller-blades, you can rent quad roller skates for $10. Socks must be worn and will be available for purchase.

What about safety gear?

Helmets, knee-pads, and wrist guards are not available for rent. A limited supply may be available for purchase in the shop if you are interested.

Do I need to wear sunscreen?

Consider sunscreen for sessions taking place during daylight hours, as this is a mostly outdoor venue.

Are refreshments available?

Yes, food & beverages are available. No outside food or beverages will be allowed inside the event.

Is there a bathroom?

Yes, bathrooms are available.

What happens if I'm late for my time slot?

You can arrive at any time within your designated time slot. It's best to arrive 15 minutes early so you can pick up your skates and lace up. 

You are welcome to enjoy the other activities on-site before and after your rink time.

What is included in the VIP Access pass?

The VIP Access pass includes a dedicated entry, expedited entry, a dedicated VIP area with a bar, and a special swag item from The DiscOasis.

Can I bring a large group?

Are there Covid-19 restrictions?

Vaccinations and masks are not required (subject to change according to state mandates).

Are WRAP tickets available for this event?

Yes. WRAP tickets will only be available in person at the box office (excluding holidays; times are subject to change) on a first-come, first-served basis, for guests presenting an IDNYC or New York Public Library card. WRAP tickets will cost $12 on weekdays, $17 on weekends, $20 evenings, and $39 for special-event nights (excludes skate rental). The program is limited to one access per person per month.

What is the cancellation policy?

Unless an event is canceled due to weather-related issues, tickets are non-refundable. Ticket exchanges may be possible in certain circumstances and when inventory allows. Please email tickets@thediscoasis.com for any questions.
