Free outdoor puppet show in Central Park from CityPark's PuppetMobile.

Even if your kids can't sit still for more than five minutes, chances are they'll make it through a puppet show. It's the perfect first-time theater experience. The stories are short and usually an adaptation of familiar fairy tales with a modern twist. For this summer's mobile shows puppeteers will present a ‌family-friendly‌ ‌variety‌ ‌show‌ ‌featuring‌ ‌songs‌ ‌from‌ ‌past‌ ‌‌Swedish‌ ‌Cottage‌ ‌Marionette‌ ‌Theatre‌ ‌‌performances‌. Two shows.

The shows are outside on the lawn, so bring a blanket to sit on.

Times: 1st Show: 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM  and  2nd Show: 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM

Location: Swedish Cottage Lawn, 79th Street
