The annual Joe Kleinerman 10K marks the start of the NYRR's racing season.
This popular event honors the legacy of Joe Kleinerman (1912-2003), a renowned distance runner, track coach, and founding member of NYRR.
The race begins at 8:00 AM on East Drive just south of the 102nd Street Cross Drive, and the course is slightly more than one lap of Central Park’s six-mile loop.
With over 5,000 runners expected, the Joe Kleinerman 10K is not only a race but also a celebration of running and community spirit in one of New York City's most iconic locations.
All participants will receive a premium long-sleeved tech T-shirt, perfect for winter running.
