NYCRUNS Half Marathon & 5K

Get swept up in the magic of running in one of NYC's most beloved spots!

Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the annual Central Park Half Marathon and 5K race! Awards will be given to the top three male, female and non-binary runners overall in each race.

EVENT BEGINS - 6:30 AM | 5K - 8:00 AM | HALF - 9:00 AM

Half Marathon Course

START TIME - 9:00 AM

The Half Marathon begins on West Drive near 96th Street. You'll run two and a half loops of the park across 72nd Street and up Harlem Hill before finishing on the 102nd Street transverse.

5K Course

START TIME - 8:00 AM

The 5K begins a bit further south than the Half Marathon, near the 90th Street entrance, and finishes in the same spot as the Half Marathon (on the 102nd Street transverse).

Please note there will be no bib pick-up at the 5K start. If you need to pick up a bib, please go to the Bib Pick-Up tent at the Half Marathon start near the 96th Street entrance. Bibs must be picked up no more than an hour before your start time.

Race day registration (if available) is online only.

Directions

To get to the main festival area (for bib pick-up, shirts and bag check), take the C train to 102nd Street or the 6 train to 103rd Street and enter the park. The Festival is located at the center of the 102nd Street transverse near the finish line.

To go directly to the start, take the C train to 96th Street and enter through the 96th Street ramp. There are portable toilets at this entrance but no other amenities.
