NY Philharmonic Concert in Central Park
The New York Philharmonic's "Concerts in the Parks" Series returns to the Great Lawn in Central Park once again! The concert starts at 8:00 PM.
This year's program includes:
- Rossini: Overture to La Gazza Ladra
- Very Young Composers: Works by Very Young Composers of New York City
- Copland: Hoe-Down, from Rodeo
- Rachmaninoff: Symphony No. 2

SEATING
For the best seats, please try to arrive a couple of hours before the start of the show!
Handicap accessible seating is located on the northeast side of the Great Lawn. Enter at 84th Street and 5th Avenue for easiest access.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring a blanket, a picnic and some friends! (no lawn chairs or dogs please)

Includes gourmet sandwiches, snacks, drinks and a blanket. Pick up just 3 blocks from the W. 81st Street entrance to Central Park. Order a Picnic To Go

The Great Lawn is located mid-park from 79th to 85th Streets. Map This Location
Entrances:
- West Side: Enter at West 81st or 86th Streets
- East Side: Enter from at East 79th or 85th Streets
Subways:
- B,C trains at West 81st Street or West 86th Street
- 1 train at West 79th Street or West 86th Street
- 4, 5, 6 trains at East 86th Street
RESTROOMS
Restrooms are located behind the Delacorte Theatre, (southwest corner of the Great Lawn). Portable restrooms will also be set up around the perimeter of the Great Lawn.
CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF
Please take all of your trash with you when you exit and place it in a trash bin. If a bin is full, please wait to find another bin to dispose it in.
ADDITIONAL TIPS FOR SUCCESS
- Keep your blankets close together and leave room for your neighbors!
- Find your group easily by setting up near a recognizable landmark like a ballfield or a speaker (added bonus: you'll hear the music more clearly!)
- Enter the Great Lawn from the south, east or west side (avoid closures in the north)
