Don't miss this unique holiday light installation!
Light and Sound Shows
Join the excitement by visiting Lincoln Square's Magical Lights in Dante Park with nightly light and sound shows featuring audio-reactive lighting by Limbic Media.
The interactive display features hundreds of dazzling lights hanging like vines from eight giant London Plane trees. The lights twinkle to the rhythm of a beat, so you can clap, sing, or play a tune to make them dance!
Nightly from 4:30 PM, throughout December.
WinteRamble with the Frost Giants on Dec 18th
Celebrate the upcoming winter solstice at the third annual WinteRamble - an illuminated neighborhood procession of Frost Giant puppets and icicle lanterns.
The procession starts at 5:00pm in front of 1886 Broadway (between 62nd Street and 63rd Street).
Sign up to make a mini-lantern at the free workshop, carry an icicle lantern, join the Kalimbascope (an interactive processional sound installation of acoustically enhanced thumb pianos), or walk along with the group.
Everyone is welcome to take part in this family-friendly event!
