German-American Steuben Parade's Oktoberfest In Central Park

The Steuben Day Parade begins at noon, followed by an Octoberfest in Central Park, at the Rumsey Playfield.  This is a ticketed event. Come for the beer, come for the bands, come for the sheer fun.

The German-American band "SPITZE" will be one of the bands playing.  Their sound is a  mix of traditional and modern German music! Their musical talents, energetic stage presence and unmatched sound of their EXPLOSIVE horn section are what makes this seven piece band hot and in demand from coast to coast.

Grammy nominee Alex Meixner will also be gracing the big stage, along with his band! Alex has been headlining music festivals throughout the US and overseas for years!

Also scheduled for this year's Oktoberfest celebration is the 7th annual "US National Masskrugstemmen Championship" - the official US stein holding championship! This event is co-sponsored by Hobrau Munchen, S & H Importers, and the German-American Steuben Parade. 

Tickets will be going on sale in July, and will go very quickly! Please check their website and their Facebook Pages the next few weeks for an announcement on the when tickets go on sale!
