Inffinito Brazilian Film Festival's Documentary Screening and Live Performance features Emicida.
Central Park welcomes the 27th Inffinito Brazilian Film Festival, featuring a documentary celebrating the legacy of Black Brazilian culture and a live performance by Emicida, the first Latin GRAMMY-winning Brazilian rapper whose music has been featured in various video games. The 2020 film "AmarElo: It's All for Yesterday" showcases Emicida's concert, interviews, recording sessions, and animated segments highlighting Brazil's Black culture, earning a 2021 International Emmy Awards nomination.
With support from Goyo, the singer, producer, and co-founder of ChocQuibTown, the groundbreaking Colombian band that fuses salsa, jazz, hip-hop, and reggae.
Bonus:
In collaboration with Works & Process, the upcoming show will feature a special performance by the Ladies of Hip-Hop Dance Collective (LDC), an all-female intergenerational group that highlights the strength, power, and diversity of women in Hip-Hop through their dance works.
