Back and Forth
Back and Forth is an interactive outdoor play you have permission to "eavesdrop" on.
Running until July 23rd, this play by Richard Holman takes place in Central Park's East Meadow, right amongst regular parkgoers.
Marty and Drew are meeting up in person for the first time in 18 months to play catch and rediscover the game of friendship– Will it feel like it used to? What’s changed? If you're losing yourself, can you hang on to anyone?
Back and Forth is an intimate story of two old friends reuniting for the first time since a forced period of extended social isolation and discovering that despite having felt basically immobile for the past 18 months, quite a lot has changed.
The two actors will have mics while appearing to have a game of catch in the park. Spectators will need headphones and a smartphone to observe and eavesdrop at their leisure.
